The Casio LK-230 Personal Keyboard is the perfect model for a beginning piano player.  At only 61 keys, it is less bulky than a full size keyboard, and weighs less than 24 pounds. I used the Step-Up system when I first learned to play  the piano, and it really helped me visualize each note. The only complaint that I could find, was that the built in speaker was not loud enough for one person’s tastes.
